Reiner Izquierdo: Urban Matter
- Published on 02 April 2026
On Sunday 12 April we'll open our spring exhibition ‘Urban Matter’ featuring works by Reiner Izquierdo.
Reiner Izquierdo Angulo (Havana, Cuba, 1969) received his education at the Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes in Cuba. Since 2008, he has lived in Spain, where he has held various exhibitions, both individual and collective.
In Urban Matter, he explores stone as a material that has been part of human life since its inception. Used for building and living, stone has been transformed to express ideas and emotions. In this exhibition, forms, textures, and volume demonstrate the relationship between nature, design, and human memory, inviting the public to observe and feel.
The festive opening of the exhibition is on Sunday 12 April at 11 am with a glass of wine, a snack, and a musician. Admission is 5 euros, the exhibition runs until Sunday 14 June.
Welcome to the garden!
